Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an evidence-based, 8-week program developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979 at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. It combines meditation, yoga, and mindfulness techniques to help individuals manage stress, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain by fostering non-judgmental awareness of the present moment.
